Winter Wonderland Cards, Kaszazz

Good morning,

Today we have a set of Christmas cards created from a sheet of Kaszazz Winter Wonderland paper. The paper has six image panels, so here is an idea for each of the panels.

This first panel has die cut pine leaves and a sentiment banner added and is embellished with stickles and sequins.

This panel has painted paper flowers added above the original flowers on the panel, and stamped and die cut trees. The sentiment is part of a stamp and has been cut up and mounted. Stickles , rhinestones, sequins, gemstones, glitter tape and a sparkly pen are used for highlights.

This panel was cut and the Alice section taped to gold foil card. This was then mounted over the remaining section which was stamped with the sentiment and has gold tape across the bottom. A small die cut deer has been added. Sequins, stickles, flower soft for snow, and a sparkly pen have again been used.

On this panel the snowman was die cut into a circle and layered on to a silver foil die cut scalloped circle. The remaining section of panel was then reversed and the snowman mounted on to the circle aperture. A sentiment, some stars and a couple of die cut trees were added. Glossy accents were added to the snowman hat and scarf, a sparkly pen to highlight the image and stickles for snow, finished off.

The deer section and the trees were cut from this panel. The deer piece was matted to card. The card base was covered with a panel from reverse side of the paper. This was wrapped with burlap ribbon and the fussy cut trees taped in  place. The deer section was then mounted. The sentiment was white embossed on to the patterned paper. Stickles and sequins were again used.

Part of this panel was die cut from the original, added to glitter card, then mounted above the aperture. The whole panel was matted on to a glitter card frame then added to the base card. A button knotted with gold thread, and some rhinestones were added. The sentiment was stamped directly on to the patterned paper .Stickles was added for snow.

This is the same panel as the previous card, made into a shaker card.

I hope this gives you some inspirational ideas on how to use your panels.

Sunflower Cards Stampin' Up, Penny Black, Heartfelt Creations...

Ahhh the beautiful sunflower! Such a beautiful, happy, feel good flower! Not only are they beautiful, but they produce Sunflower oil and the seeds are a healthy nutritious snack! Did I say they were beautiful.... hehehe...

Here are three cards I have created using sunflower images...

First a square card featuring Stampin' Up's Sunflower stamped on white card, coloured with markers, then multilayered on brown, yellow and white card...

Next Heartfelt Creations Sunflower Bouquet stamp also stamped on white, coloured with markers and assembled with layered cardstock. I stamped the flower images again, cut them out separately and adhered them with mounting tape for added dimension ...

Lastly an easel card featuring Penny Black's - Sunny Pair image. also coloured with markers and layered on brown cardstock...

I don't think I mentioned it, but can you tell sunflowers are one of my favourite flowers!
How can you not feel happy when you see them?!?

Christening / Baptism / Confirmation Cards - Stampin' Up Crosses of Hope, All God's Grace...

Todays cards were created using two stamp sets from Stampin' Up - Crosses of Hope and the wording from All God's Grace.

Each card has a white card base, a silver or coloured layer and then an embossed white layer. The pink and blue cards also have an added coloured layer, topped with another dot embossed white layer.

For each card, I stamped and label punched all three words - christening, baptism, confirmation so the card user could choose which wording suited the most and could easily be changed if necessary.

Great gift ideas to present with these cards include bibles, photo/scrapbook albums, moneyboxes or keepsake boxes.

Thanks for visiting,

Tea/Coffee Thank-you Folders - Stampin' Up Morning Cup...

Individual Tea/Coffee bags and sachets are a fantastic way to say thank-you especially when packaged with a handmade folder.  We have many wonderful volunteers who give their time in so many ways at our school, so I created these as a small thank-you for all the wonderful things they do...

I used the following stamp sets on the little white card folders:

Technique Tuesday Coffee Break Seal
Stampin' Up Morning Cup and A Nice Cuppa
Tickled Pink Thanks
Cre8tiv Border Icons Stamp Kit

The Macaron stamp used on the back of the folders - magazine freebie

I stamped the images and wording using several brown inks to co-ordinate with the variegated twine I was using to tie the folders closed.

Volunteers are truly appreciated in our school!
Do you have time (no matter how small) to volunteer at your local school?

Card Folders...

I have had these kraft and white folders in my stash for quite awhile - they are precut and scored with a pocket type flap inside, so I decided to create a set of 4 cards with envelopes for each folder...

Choosing from my stash of patterned papers, I created 4 cards, co-ordinated the cover and the inside pocket flaps.

Birds on Kraft...

Birdcages on white...

Watercolour flowers on Kraft and...

Watercolour flowers on white...

Before adhering the covers to the front of the folders, I attached a ribbon to be used to tie the folders closed.  I decided to create the cards as blanks so they can be used for any purpose.

Great to see you,
Back again soon,
